At SES NEW SKIES, our mission is to provide our customers with reliable and effective satellite communications services worldwide, coupled with unparalleled customer service, flexibility and responsiveness.

To this end, we have designed and implemented one of the world’s youngest, most advanced and far-reaching commercial satellite communications networks broadcasting critical data, Internet content and television programming to points all over the globe.

We strongly believe in developing long-term relationships with our customers and in order to extend our current services and build for the future, we are adding additional satellites to our global fleet.  This upgrade of our in-orbit resources will expand our network and provide powerful additional capacity serving Africa, The Middle East, Asia, Australia & the Pacific and the Americas, thus enabling our customers and ourselves to grow.

In addition to NSS-10 and NSS-11 which joined our fleet earlier in the year, we have placed orders for 2 more satellites: NSS-9 is expected to be available in early 2009 in the Pacific Ocean Region; NSS-12 will replace NSS-8 over the Indian Ocean Region in mid-2009. Lastly, we are planning a further hybrid satellite which can provide expansion capacity as well as additional redundancy and expect to be introducing this satellite to the fleet in 2010.
