NEW SKIES as President and CEO Betzdorf, Luxembourg – July 10, 2008 -SES S.A. (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG) today announced plans to combine SES AMERICOM and SES NEW SKIES to form a new operating segment of SES. Robert Bednarek, currently President and CEO of SES NEW SKIES, will become President and CEO of this new operating segment.
The SES AMERICOM and SES NEW SKIES satellite fleets will remain separately owned and operated, and the new segment will continue to be supported from its current locations and facilities around the world. No major changes to business operations and market activities are currently anticipated.

The Hague, July 7th, 2008 - SES NEW SKIES, an SES company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG) and GlobeCast, a subsidiary of France Telecom, have signed 5-year contracts for the continued use of two 36MHz transponders on the NSS-806 satellite at the orbital location of 319.5° East. Terms of the contract remain confidential. GlobeCast is a leading global provider of content management and worldwide transmission services for professional broadcast delivery and has been a valued customer of NEW SKIES since its inception as a global satellite operator in 1998.

SES NEW SKIES, an SES company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG), announced today a multi-year, multi-transponder agreement with the Essel Group for the provision of C-band satellite capacity to support the digitalization of India’s vast cable infrastructure comprising more than 70 million homes. The agreement is for capacity ramping up to six transponders over a five year period, and initially covers capacity on NSS-703 at 57° East, transitioning to NSS-12 in 2009.

(CSTV) to provide transponder capacity on the NSS-6 satellite for their A-Sky-Net direct-to-home (DTH) satellite television service targeting the Australian Region. CSTV’s A-Sky-Net DTH service currently offers a comprehensive mix of Chinese channels geared to cater to a wide range of ethnic Chinese viewers and will initially utilize a full transponder. The DTH package will be uplinked from Taiwan and can be received throughout Australia.
